The adoration of the plastic Baby Jesus.  Seen on the corner of Topanga & Velicata in Woodland Hills.  The ox looks like it's plodding to escape...  Happy holidays, peace & blessings to one and all.

Santa Cows

Seen off PCH: These decorative cows adorn a rooftop by the beach in Malibu.  For the holidays they're sporting large sets of antlers. 

Tie Dye Santa

We still have hippies, selling tie dye's by the roadside.  This one has a poem about real hugs.

Here's a heart made of polaroids, taken of the the happy customers at Mimosa Cafe.  A place that was recently described as a "warm, cozy, bagel scented womb".

Citrus Grove

We have amazing citrus fruit, growing almost year round.

Medicine Wheel

In these hills there are various circles, also known as medicine wheels.  They were build by the Chumash & Tongva Indians, who lived here long before the white folks came.

Drummer

The musician known only by the name of Drummer, and his sidekick Emma.  Both are among the morning regulars at  Cafe Mimosa.

Art Wall

The Topanga Coop Gallery, a group of local artists, has amazing collections of original artwork.  These smaller sized paintings are priced to sell for the holidays, $50.- each.

The breakfast special at Pat's Topanga Grill.  Includes: two eggs any style, I like mine poached and dowsed with gnarly "Garly" sauce.  Plus potatoes, tomatoes or cottage cheese. I like Juan's spuds with ketchup.  And white, wheat, sour dough toast or tortillas.  I like tortillas with orange marmalade.  $4.95, Includes coffee or tea, weekdays till noon.  

The over the top, buttery blueberry muffin is not part of the special.  It's just showing off.
