Rattler

Look who is lounging here, catching the sun, and waiting for prey in my backyard.  A large diamond back rattlesnake.

    Not really. I moved very slowly. It barely blinked and didn't move at all. Nor did it rattle, which it will as warning before striking at anyone.
    Plus I used the zoom. =)
